I was a little worried by this sign. I would expect to see a sign like this in a third-world country. They have a hard time with our verbal nouns. But at a hotel in Ohio? Someone should have caught it!

An Opportunity

On Friday I got the opportunity to go with a friend from work to see an evangelistic movie. Some Christian friends of hers had invited her, and she couldn't think of anyone that would be interested in going besides me. It was neat. The movie was made by two local guys, and this was their "premiere." They even had a "red carpet" made out of table runner! The most important thing, though is that my friend heard the Gospel presented clearly both in the movie and in the presentation afterwards. I had been praying for opportunities with her and God just dropped one in my lap!

Today, so far, we've gotten six inches of snow. This is the second snow of the winter. Tuesday we got about two inches, but that two inches disrupted traffic like crazy. It took me forty-five minutes to go fifteen miles on the interstate. I was half an hour late to work. The stupid thing was that the road was salted, so it was just wet. But, the traffic was still going only 10 miles an hour, stop and go. I was glad that dad took me out Sunday to practice getting into first gear! I'm pretty comfortable driving stick now. It makes driving an automatic seem boring!
